Womens' Well Being
Many women have found protection from unnecessary surgery, useless medication and needless suffering when they started to read drug product inserts; books on their condition; got second and third opinions; and, whenever possible, explored alternatives to hysterectomy and drug therapy.
A healthy spinal column is essential for the health of the female reproductive system and it is vital for women with gynecological problems to have a routine spinal checkup to ensure her, and perhaps her unborn child’s health.
A chiropractic spinal examination could make the difference between sickness and health; for both of you.
The Spine/Pelvis Relationship
For over a hundred years, many women who have suffered from a wide variety of pelvic and gynecological conditions from pain to PMS, have discovered the natural benefits of chiropractic care.
Patients have also observed that menopausal symptoms including depression, hot flashes, back or joint pain, irritability, headaches or fatigue have been reduced from chiropractic spinal care.
Dr. J. E. Browning is a doctor of chiropractic who has written extensively that various disturbances in pelvic organ function have been successfully managed by chiropractic ..symptoms [include] bladder, bowel, gynecologic, and sexual dysfunction.
Pregnancy and Chiropractic
Chiropractic if you are pregnant?
Absolutely!
Keeping your spine free from the verbal subluxation complex is one of the best things you can do if you are pregnant.
If there’s one group of people who need chiropractic spinal checkups more than any other, it’s pregnant women.
Another excellent reason for seeing a chiropractor during pregnancy is that it is a drugless health care system.
Drugs, whether prescription or over-the-counter, can harm the growing fetus. There is no such thing as a safe drug.
The safest thing for a pregnant woman to do is to avoid all drugs and seek natural non-drug alternatives for health care if at all possible.
Almost all types of drugs and medications
have been linked to fetal damage or malfunction.
Webster Breech Technique
One of the latest developments in chiropractic care has been a method of correcting breech presentations in which the baby isn’t positioned properly for birth.
Developed by the late Larry Webster, D.C. of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, chiropractors are able to release stress on the pregnant woman’s pelvis and cause relaxation to the uterus so the baby will turn naturally.
Called the Webster Breech technique, Dr. Webster stated that it is up to 94% successful in turning babies in utero so they can be delivered easily.
